His Lordship Rt. Rev. Joseph Mwongela has urged everyone to practice forgiveness and reconciliation in their homes, which will foster harmony and peace in the Community.

Speaking at Ikanga Parish whereby more than 400 candidates have received the sacrament of confirmation, Bishop Mwongela has urged the faithful to pray for those who have received the sacrament to experience the power of the Holy Spirit and become true soldiers of Christ by defending their faith.

Bishop Mwongela has expounded on the need for everyone to vote intelligently, pray for peaceful elections, and requested those running for various offices to accept the outcome and promote peace. ” Vote for leaders who will make a difference as a leader, not for money,” he said

Bishop Mwongela has outlined the significance of grandparents as the Church observes World Day for the Grandparents and asked everyone to appreciate and care for their elderly parents
