The Kitui diocesan Pastoral Strategic Plan places a strong emphasis on the construction of modern churches and other diocesan facilities. Raising the standards of our church and diocesan institutions so that the catholic faithful can worship in a peaceful environment and participate in various creative forums (workshops, meetings) in a serene setting.
With the changing needs and the rapid modernization of the world, the diocese of Kitui is constructing modern units dubbed thome plaza project. These new units will meet the needs of the time as well as increasing the accommodation capacity of our diocese.
The site for the plaza is within the Kitui Pastoral centre, upon completion the project will advance the vision of the Diocesan Pastoral Strategic Plan by enhancing evangelization through creating an avenue where the laity and religious can centrally meet and foster matters of faith.
