This programme is the heart of the Pastoral Office. It’s meant to teach faith and doctrines of the church, as well as to prepare the faithful for Sacramental life. Catechists have a central role in this and in helping the priests in evangelization work.
Formation of catechists is done at St. Theresa Catechetical Training Centre, Kimangao. The centre was opened in 2014. Its main objective is to provide and equip catechists with the knowledge and empower them in their call to evangelizations.
under Catechetical program, we also have catechists retreat, annual Mass and Annual General Meetings. Currently we have 581 catechists and 9916 catechumens.
