CWA members from Good Shepherd Parish, Mwingi, celebrated the Memorial of St. Monica with Holy Mass and a talk on building strong families.
The Mass was celebrated by Fr. Peter Muvea, the parish priest, Good Shepherd Parish, Mwingi. He encouraged the women to love and care for their husbands and children and to support one another in their families.
Reflecting on the example of St. Monica, known for her prayer, perseverance and dedication to her family, Fr. Peter advised the women to nurture strong and united families by caring for one another and extending love and support to their neighbours.
CWA members in different parishes across the Diocese also marked the Memorial of St. Monica.
