A total of 84 catechists have completed their two-week Phase II training at St. Patrick’s Parish, Mutune. The training began on 23rd November 2025 and has concluded this evening, 5th December 2025.
This group began their formation with Phase I in August 2025, and the current session has further deepened their understanding of key areas of the Catholic faith. The training covered Canon Law, Homiletics, Catechetics, the Sacraments, Sacred Scripture, Sacred Liturgy, Family Life, Church History, and Practicals.
Phase III will take place in April 2026, followed by additional sessions in August 2026, December 2026, and the final phase in April 2027. Upon completing the entire program, the catechists will be commissioned in August 2027.
We congratulate the 84 participants for their commitment and dedication to their formation. We wish them journey mercies as they travel back to their respective parishes tomorrow, 6th December 2025.
