Members? Profiles

William Maema hails from Mulutu Parish, Tanganyika station. In Nairobi he is a member of Don Bosco, Upper Hill Parish. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya currently of 20 years standing. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree from the University of Cambridge, UK, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He is currently the Partner in charge of Commercial Department at Iseme, Kamau & Maema Advocates. He specialises in Intellectual Property Law, Corporate Law and Employment and NGO work. William is a founder member of FOKD and has been its Chairman since inception. He is also the Chairman of the Boards of Governors for St. Angela?s Secondary School and St. Paul?s Kwa Vonza Secondary School and a Board member of Mutomo Mission Hospital.    He is married to Rose and they currently have 4 daughters.   
Rose Maema is a career teacher. She hails from Tanganyika Station, Mulutu Parish and attends Don Bosco, Upper Hill Parish in Nairobi. She holds a Master of Education (M.Ed) Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Degree from the same university.
She currently teaches at Kileleshwa Primary School and is one of the founder women members of FOKD. She is married to William Maema and is a member of Don Bosco, Upper Hill Parish.
Jimmy Katee Mutia is among the founder members of the Group. He is from Boma Parish, St Theresia Station, Kalawa.  He has played a leading role in financing and fund raising for the construction of the station?s beautiful church, which stands in the compound of Changwitya Secondary school.  While in Nairobi together with his family are members of Don Bosco shrine.   Jimmy, a career businessman, is the managing partner with Polarize Enterprises Ltd, a firm that specializing in water well drilling and rehabilitation of boreholes and also in the construction and rehabilitation of dams.
He is married to Cindy Katee and the couple has been blessed with five children.
   Michael Maithya Nzule is a founder member and Treasurer of Friends of Kitui Diocese. He is from Boma Parish, St Mary?s Station, Kwa Ukungu. While in Nairobi together with his family are members of St Paul?s University Chapel.   He serves various Diocesan Boards, which include St Ursula Girls (Chairman), Muthale Girls and the Diocesan Finance Committee. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and holds Bachelors of Commerce (Bcomm Accounting) and an MBA in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Nairobi. He has worked with leading consultancy firms specializing in business strategy and corporate performance management. Currently he is a leader in Supplier Performance Management at a leading global beverage company.
Michael is married to Josephine and the couple is blessed with two children.
   Josephine Nzule is a member of FOKD. She is a trained Social Worker and a Secretary, currently working in community service in Nairobi.  She has keen interests in working with the less privileged in the society and has worked for various social groups, street children rehabilitation projects in Nairobi, as well as youth and women projects.  
She is married to Michael Nzule.
 Samuel Muthui Ikima comes from Kimangao Parish in Kitui Diocese. He spent his childhood years in Kitui where he was an alter-boy and also went to school at the Diocesan Junior seminary and later became a Parish Development Coordinator in his home parish of Kimangao.
A trained Logistician with over 15 years experience with different bilateral organizations and international non-governmental organization. Samuel has a Bachelors degree in Business administration (Kenya Methodist University), Diploma in Business management (Nairobi University Kenya) and a graduate diploma in Purchasing and supplies (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies UK). Currently he is a Logistics Coordinator with an International Humanitarian Organisation.
 

Felix Kikuyu Kimoli is a founder member of FOKD.  He hails from Mutune Parish and while in Nairobi, he and his family are members of Don Bosco Shrine. Felix is a Certified Public Accountant. He is the founding member of Taxplan Consulting Limited in 2005 and also the Managing Director.  He has a wide range of experience in Auditing, Accountancy and specifically Tax Consulting, acquired over a span of over 20 years with various Audit Firms.  Felix also serves in various Boards of the Diocese institutions like St Ursula Girls, St Patrick Mutune (Chairman) and the Diocesan Finance Committee.

He is Married to Miriam Mwende and they have been blessed with two children.

Miriam Mwende Kimoli is a member of FOKD. She is a trained secretary.  She is a Director in charge of the operations at Taxplan Consulting Limited.  She has a wide range of experience in Administration and Human Resources Management.
Jacinta Mueni has been the Secretary of Group since its inception to date. She hails from Kabaa village, Boma Parish, and in Nairobi she worships at St Paul?s University Chapel.  She is a board member of St Charles Lwanga boys School as well as a member of the Diocese Finance Committee.
Professionally she works in Communications Marketing as the Group Production Manager for a group of Companies known as Ogilvy East Africa.
As a practicing Catholic, she is interested in doing her bit to contribute to the growth and development of the Catholic Church with special interest in Kitui Diocese.
Cosmas Nzioki Mwanza is a founder member and the Vice Chairman of FOKD.  He comes from Mulutu Parish and in Nairobi his family is a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace, South B. He is a retired international civil servant having worked for United Nations Environmental Programme, specialising in logistics and airline ticketing. He was trained in London at British Airways College on customer services and airline ticketing.  He has work experience from leading Airline and Tours and travel company in Kenya.
He is married and blessed with six children.
Maurice Mutuku Nzwii is a founder member of Friends of Kitui Diocese?attended the very first meeting convened in Nairobi by His Lordship Boniface Lele in 2003 and has never looked back. He comes from Kabati Station, Holy Family Parish Kabati and in Nairobi; he is a member of Holy Family Minor Basilica and St Michael?s Church Langata. He is also a founder member of Kabati Parish Nairobi Group and an active member of St James Prayer Group?Jumuiya in Langata.
 Maurice is married to Alice Mutuku, a teacher at Eastleigh Secondary School and the couple is blessed with two children.
Maurice was educated at St Joseph?s Seminary School Mwingi and attended A levels at Thika High School. Trained in Tourism at Kenya Utalii College, Marketing at The Chartered Institute of Marketing UK and Tourism Management at United States International University. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and currently working as Sales & Reservations Manager at Gamewatchers Safaris & Porini Safari Camps Ltd-Village Market.  
Benjamin Kamanga is a Catholic and a founder member of FOKD.
Professionally, Benjamin is an accountant ? Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (FCPA (K)) and as well a Certified Public Secretary (CPS (K)) and a certified trainer in Corporate Governance by the Commonwealth Association of Corporate Governance.
He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Strathmore Business School, Strathmore University and Bachelors in Commerce (B.Comm) from the University of Nairobi
Benjamin has over 20 years work experience in business advisory and executive management of businesses.
He is married and the couple has two children.
  Anthony M. Mulila  is one of the founder members of FOKD. In Nairobi he is a member of Karen, Our Lady Queen Parish. At home, he is from Kabati Parish, Katheka station.
He is an accountant by profession (retired) and a member of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya. He has an MBA from the University of Henot-Watt, UK.
Anthony is married to Christine Mumbe Mulila, a nurse by profession. They are blessed with three grown up children.
  Nicholas Mulila joined the FOKD team in 2008. He comes from Kabati Parish. While in Nairobi, his family worships at the Consulate Shrine.
Back home, he serves on various committees, including Katheka Boys Secondary School and Muthale Mission hospital boards.
Nicholas is a Certified Public Accountant and Secretary. He holds a Bcomm degree (Accounting) and MBA in Strategy from the University of Nairobi.
He is currently Head of Commercial Planning and Pricing for Safaricom Limited.
He is married to Anne Nyakairu and have been blessed with two children Mark and Veronica.
  Charles Mulila Charles joined FOKD in 2008. He hails from Kabati Parish, Katheka Station. He is an active member of the Kabati Parish group that coordinates various activities for the parish.
In Nairobi, his family is a member of Holy Family Minor Basilica and St Michael?s in Langata. Charles is a journalist and media consultant. He has worked with various media houses in Kenya, and syndicates for a top international news organization. He is member of the Ministry of Labour?s Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) editorial board, where he acts as Vice-chair.
He is a founder member of the Business Journalists Association, Kenya Union of Journalists and ICJ.
Charles is married to Peninna and they have been blessed with two children.
  Robert Kiattu is a founder member of FOKD. He is an Accountant by profession, currently retired from formal employment after working in the private sector for over 30 years. Robert hails from Kasyala station, Mutune Parish. In Nairobi, he and his family belong to Consolata Shrine, Westlands. He is married to Lenah Mutongoi and they have six children and several grandchildren. Robert runs a private business in Nairobi.
  Lena Mutongoi Kiattu is from Kasyala Station, Mutune Parish. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from Kenyatta University and an MBA from Newport University, UK. She is currently engaged in private business, having retired from formal employment. She has previously worked for NSSF, University of Nairobi and the National Assembly. She is married to Robert Kiattu and is one of the few grandmothers of FOKD.
  Paul Saiti Muthui
Paul is a member of St. Stephen?s Catholic Church, Maseki in Mutune Parish, Kitui Diocese. He and his wife are registered members of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, South ?B?, Nairobi. He is a founder member of FOKD.
Paul holds a master?s degree in economics from the University of Barcelona in Spain and a bachelor?s degree in liberal arts from the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. He is a retired civil servant having served as an economist in the ministries of Economic Planning and Education. He retired from the service at the rank of Deputy Chief Economist and Head of the Planning Unit in the Ministry of Education.
Paul has been a member of the Board of Governors (BOGs) for Matinyani, Muthale and Kauma secondary schools. He is currently a member on Mutulu Secondary School BOG. Recently, he was elected a member of the Executive Committee of the newly created Matinyani District. He has been the Chairman of the Nairobi West Civil Servants Estate Association for over 10 years. He holds a Distinguished Service Medal (DSM) awarded by the Government of Kenya for his service to the community.
Paul is married to Teresa Ndingwa Muthui and they have been blessed with four grown up children.
  Teresa Ndingwa Muthui
Teresa is a member of St. Stephen?s Catholic Church, Maseki in Mutune Parish, Kitui Diocese. She and her husband are registered members of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, South ?B?, Nairobi.
Teresa is an old girl of St. Angela?s Girls? Secondary School in Kitui. She has a master?s degree and a bachelor?s degree in education (M.Ed. & B.Ed.) from the University of Nairobi. She has commendation for outstanding performance in the examination leading to the award of the B.Ed degree and also for outstanding performance in a secondary school inspectors? course. She has training in Public Procurement and HIV& AIDS.
Teresa joined the public service as a secondary school teacher and later became an inspector of schools. She has worked in the Ministry of Agriculture as the Head of Home Economics Extension and also as head of AIDS Control Unit. In 2001, she joined the Commission for Higher Education (CHE) as an Assistant Commission Secretary and was deployed as a secretary in the curriculum department. She is currently Head of Procurement in CHE and also Head of AIDS Control Unit for the university sub-sector. She is widely trained both locally and internationally and has been a member of Government delegations to national and international fora. She is a writer of technical reports and manuals.
Teresa is married to Paul Saiti Muthui and is a mother of four (4) grown up children.
