The association exists to witness the love of God through promoting the catholic faith and collaborating with the church in evangelization. Its vision is eternal life for humanity. The Diocesan CMA chaplain is Rev. Robert Mutui.
CMA undertakes various diocesan activities which include diaconate and priestly ordination whereby some of the roles are to process and present symbolic gifts to the newly ordained priests. Back in parishes, men are also involved in activities like maintaining the church, priests’ houses, and tiding mission compounds. This work is performed through casual labor.
