19 pupils receives the Sacrament of baptism

Rev. Fr. Urbanus Kamwila, has urged the catechumens to stick and stay strong to the Catholic faith and more so try to participate in all other Sacraments for baptism is the gateway to others.  “Baptism makes us children of God and also brings about our salvation on the cross.” He said. He spoke this during the baptism of 19 pupils from East View Academy on 17/10/17 at the school grounds.

He too encouraged them to often go for the Sacrament of penance and be close to God.  Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God’s mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion.

He thanked Teacher Rodgers and Br. Kenneth for the preparation and requested them to walk with the newly baptized pupils to ensure that they stay strong in faith.
